Valley Visions Magazine. I sent in a poem to a local magazine dedicated to photography, sketches/drawing, poems and short stories by high school students in the treasure valley. It was way cool. I went to an event where all the accepted work was on display for everyone to see, kind of intimidating, but it was good for me. I haven't written a lot of poetry, I've probably only tried a handful of times, but I enjoy it.
So...here it is!
"With voice alone translating his thoughts to my hearing-I listen earnestly. These eyes are spoken of as I somehow manage to control this besetting swarm of ecstatic emotions. As that laugh is present, all fears and weary mindsets simply vanish. Knots of enchantment and an exhausting amount of butterflies awake and heighten the wonders of these quixotic dreams."
So...here it is!
